Don't know the name but we have some Cosmos that only make about eighteen inches. We had some larger ones self seeded and reached about seven foot, but hardly flowered.
Planted out the runner beans, then some tomatoes on a couple of patch es prepared yesterday. Watered, seem to be doing that a fair bit lately, no rain forecast for a while either. Been running the small watering can back and forth, lugging the big one about is a pain in the neck, literally, and I have used up the water butt next to the greenhouse that has a hose on it.
