Prepping for the Polar Vortex today

Harvested jalapeno peppers and broccoli shoots before the predicted big freeze hits here Sunday. Still have lots of carrots, onions, turnips, radishes, cabbage, cauliflower, brussels, and horseradish growing

All our fall stuff is already dead. I'm not sure if we got it in too late, or what happened, but we never got anything from ours this year. We did get a freeze in either late November or early December, that I think is to blame, but I'm not too sure. It was just one day.

Either way, at least yours is still looking good! Gonna be some good eatin' for you while we're already back to shopping at the grocery store.
