Wouldn't They Get Too Old

Was thinking on the fact that my annuals are not close to blooming. Some have many blooming. I'm thinking and annual only has so many days.

So if their blooming now in couple months they would be done for if someone hung them just to look pretty.

Annuals should bloom for months if the weather and heat suits them. Dead heading them will help too.

I heard manly on Petunias if you cut every bloom off it will devide and double blooms.

Now I'm wondering if what you cut can you Propagate?

@Sheal when you dead head do you wait to cut the bloom until it is about finished or cut it before that? I always have waited but wonder if that is optimum?

You know I don't really think it matters the plant sees it as an attack and produces more.

I cut when the flower starts to wilt @Meadowlark, any later and it will start to go to seed. It can be left of course if you want the seeds.
