Both my Hearing Aids quit so I have to buy New Ones. Found a couple that are supposed to be good but cheap.

Hearing Aids Are Too Old

I hope they do the job for you.
Here in the UK, hearing aids can be provided free under the National Health. As are repairs. You have to be assessed first.
One or two of my golfing pals have them, some I hadn't noticed, they had for years, they are so unobtrusive.
Thirty years ago my wife encouraged me to have my hearing tested, as she said she thought I was going deaf.
They put you in a cubicle, you wear earphones and they get you to listen to diminishing sounds at different frequencies and tell them at what point you can no longer hear them. After the test, I was told there was nothing wrong with my hearing.
I said, "But my wife says I can't hear her."
"That's probably because you aren't listening!"
At 85, my hearing is far from perfect, I often find it difficult to understand what people are saying only a couple of yards away in a noisy atmosphere. But out on the golf course, if someone tees off hits their ball and it brushes some small branches at the top of a tree a hundred yards away, I'll hear it, when sometimes younger partners don't.
What I find amusing is the occasional comments on a few audio message boards I frequent. A lot of posters who can afford ridiculously expensive hi-fi equipment (and I'm talking multiple thousands of dollars or pounds) will argue about the various merits of different set-ups.
But a lot of these people will be ageing and none will give a thought to how maybe the differences could be attributed to the quality of their hearing.

Well my wife said I will have some in a week.
In the mean time I hear a bunch of gibberish.
I messed mine up with Rock Concerts, Firearms, Chainsaws and different Jobs.
I remember several times after shooting or Concerts my ears would hurt for days.
Didn't think about the fact I was doing irreversible damage to my ears.
