Yep, if in doubt use rain water for cacti, there's more of them that don't like hard water than those that do so it's easier to add lime to the compost where needed

I'm hoping he'll recover - he's not 100% just yet. There is a whole lot of flu going around here at the moment, and hospitals are full up .....he does look a bit flushed.

I bet captain Neem oil was cold out there today, ha ha I bet the Austrocylindropuntia is thinking hey you got a nice warm fleece coat on let me get in there and keep warm oh my soooo funny gotta love a cactus with a funny personality
