Weather..

Another 40+mph wind day today. According to the weather forecast, the wind should be just about over by Thursday and I'm ready for it! If the wind would quit blowing it would be very nice outside!

This morning the forecast said minimum of 2 or 3 here tonight, so I finally got around to moving all my bags of potatoes out of the greenhouse and making some much needed room. Now they are saying 0 to 2, well they are in a protected spot where the hill slopes away from them, fingers crossed.

I feel like a broken record talking about this dang wind, but it's back again today! Gusts reaching up to 60mph today. Tomorrow is looking much better, though, so I've already scheduled a day off to hang out at the house smoking a brisket!

The sunny weather continues here but a higher temperature would be nice. 11C/52F

Today was a repeat of yesterday.

It gets to you doesn't it Mike? I'll work outside in rain if it's not too bad but it's so frustrating when it's windy, it usually becomes a housework day for me.

Yes, so much so! This time of year is always bad, but not always this bad. Luckily, though, the wind has subsided, at least for today! Instead of working in the garden, though, I'm taking advantage and smoking a brisket for the next 10 hours! 🕺

Last night hopefully saw the last frost for this area. The forecast low of 32 deg F wasn't reached however as the winds turned to from the southeast bringing in warmer Gulf air.

We will be soon hitting 90 deg F and then above and wishing for just one more cool night.
