If you are fond of growing onions in your garden, especially those big bulb slicers that cover a hamburger, then you might be interested in this custom tool.
Onions need to have the soil loosened around the bulb as it grows, or otherwise the bulb growth will be limited. In addition, they tend to get energy sapping weeds right next to the bulb where it is hard to get to, especially without back bending effort.
My solution is a custom-made onion tool. It is a former hoe that I removed all the tines from except one. It is absolutely perfect for loosening dirt around the bulb without damaging the bulb or your back. It is a terror on those pesky weeds right next to the bulb.
