I recently visited a local antique store, and they just had a seed exchange event. The manager told me to take as much of everything that I wanted, so I took some seeds. In one envelope that was hand labeled "Hibicus", there were some black seeds that I took. I figured the individual misspelled "Hibiscus", and I love hibiscus flowers, so I took them home. This is what I have growing. Google lens isn't much help, giving me results from various peppers, to 4 o'clocks.

Any ideas what this is?

Unless it's some kind of weird variety that I haven't seen, it definitely doesn't look like a hibiscus to me. The leaves on all the hibiscus that we have here at work are larger, and kinda serrated on the edges.

Kinda looks like pepper plant leaves but the few pepper plants that I've grown have all been shorter plants and bushier. Not to say they're all like that. I haven't grown a lot of peppers.

So, anyways, the point is, I have no idea what this is. 😂 Hopefully it'll start to bloom soon.
