Last couple years I've put buckets by trees Bushes and such dripping water to them.

Thinking this year watering Lawn,Trees, Flowers and all with sprinklers so everything gets watered. Be much cooler for the area and easier.

Other than cost see any problem? We are in a very bad drought.

Nope, this is how I water my yard and my front flower bed. The flowers just get watered with the same sprinkler that waters the front corner of the yard. Haven't had any problems yet. It's dry enough around here that I sometimes even water in the evenings, which a lot of folks will say is a big no-no, and I've never had an issue doing that either.

My location dictates it's rare to water the garden. Having said that it's been a relatively dry winter and early spring so it's a strong possibility at the moment it will have to be done. Always in the evening after sunset when it's cooler and no sun to dry it out.

@Mike we spoke about roses a short while ago. They should always be watered at the base which helps to prevent diseases like black spot.

Thanks for the info @Sheal! May have to change the way I water then, cause they were going in that front flower bed I was talking about. 😳
