I planted a few pumpkin seedlings and was astonished at how easy they were to grow and how much they spread. At one point I was worried about a pumpkin hanging over the fence, so I placed a terracotta pot under it for support. It got hidden behind foliage, and well... this happened.

A few weeks later...

It ended up being perfectly fine, albeit deformed. Unfortunately, before I could harvest it, the squirrels did. Lesson(s) learned.
