Jambalaya 2.0 Okra - Early maturing, full season okra.

Jambalaya 2.0 okra is an extra-early maturing okra, that will start producing as a small, compact plant. This okra boasts a shiny, dark green pod and large edible flowers.

Planting and sowing

Jambalaya 2.0 okra should be planted at a seed depth of 1/2 to 1 inch deep. The seeds should be spaced 12-18 inches apart within rows, and 24-36 inches between rows. Some people recommend planting the seeds in rows about 2 inches apart, then culling plants to a 12-18 inch distance.

About the blooms

Okra flowers open for just one day. After pollination, the pods start to grow. This is the key time to pick the pods for the best taste and texture. The okra life cycle i s very short, taking 55-65 days from planting to harvest.
