I just saw this one on Breck's online site.
Common name is "Flowering Fern."
Latin name is "incarvillea delaveyi"
They spread and get 18" tall with upp to 12 flowers per stalk. You get 3 roots for $15. They grow in zones 3-9 (lift in fall zones 3-4) and the flowers Re 2-3" long and wide !! Gorgeous, isn't she? They take sun or part shade and grow in any soil, average moisture.

I need this one !!

Unfortunately that's about normal these days, you could have a look at Weston's Salvias and Farmyard Nurseries around Easter and see what's going there.

Black Barlow Columbine Aquilegia Vulgaris Black Barlow.

These I Must have and they readily reseed !! zone 3-9 average soil moisture and not fussy about ph !!

Rhinanthus - or commonly known as yellow rattle. We really need some of this to get going to help clear the grass on the wildflower patch. I did sow lots when I first dug the ground over, but haven't yet seen any evidence of it growing.

If you look on Farmer Gracy website, you will find three tubers for a fiver. They can also be grown as seed, and should produce some flower after two years. Once you have a few started from tubers though, the seed pods produce a LOT of seed. Incarvillea delavayii can also be found with its more common handle of ''hardy Gloxinia''

There are better doubles than this one in my opinion. The picture is deceiving, and this variety is actually a dirty kind of purple. They seed like crazy, and are a bit of a nuisance in my gardens.
If you are looking for a tall pale yellow perennial, you can't do much better than Thalictrum flavum glauca

I bought this young shrub yesterday as I want it to spread against a stone garden wall. It flowers here from April or May and the flower at present is about 1 1/2 inches. Hopefully they will be larger as the plant matures.

I just ran across this recently doing some research. It is actually a vine that can be trained to look like a hedge. Passiflora_caerulea_(blue passionflower).

They are lovely plants. Passiflora's are quite popular amongst gardeners in Britain.
