What a brilliant thread to start [USER=14]@DrCase[/USER], and it's good to ''see'' you again [USER=35]@roadrunner[/USER]
[USER=28]@Anniekay[/USER] those dead and decaying trees in your neighbourhood are so very important to the ecology there. They support so much wildlife. I read a plaque once in the New Forest in the South of England which was placed by a dead and decaying tree, telling the passers-by about the creatures that were depending on it. God created such a perfect system.
