am going to try something this Summer.
June 1st I am going to eat only veggies grow. Nothing else. going to try and make it 30 days
Beans, Tomatoes, asparagus, peppers, carrots beets, cabbages, lettuces hopefully some potatoes at the end of June.
they 100% work. remember you and I talking about HK tubs needed more water. this definitely helps. I didnt water them once last year. filled up the water tub a few times.
for my Hk tubs bought this off amazon.
Solar Automatic Drip Irrigation Kit System, JIYANG Solar Powered Auto Easy DIY Watering Device Supported Pots Plants, 6 Timing Modes with Anti-Siphoning Device (Supported 10 Pots, 6Timing Modes)
I did not have to water them 1 time last year.
i ate a few of his last year. I like them. his did not take up as much room as a black beauty would. I am going to grow them vertical. do you think that would work? doesnt seem to be as heavy as most zucc.
asked him to share N levels.
he is an acquaintance not friend
3 things are weird
1. N level not mentioned
2. what went on before to get levels that high
3. who no recommendations from the get go.
Planting potatoes is an excellent idea. will pass along
Below s from him. asked about exact size. will share when he does.
I finally got a call from the UW and they said pretty much the same thing plus add:
1. Ammonium sufate 21-0-0-24@ 2#/1000ft2
2. Urea 46-0-0 @ 2#/1000ft2
Their reasoning is to reduce the PH and breakdown the excess organic...
he said he had 2 done both similar in numbers. nothing growing now. I am wondering what would have been put in the soil for it to have super high numbers like that.
8 inches of snow last Monday, 4 inches more a few days later. single temp weather 5 days this past week.
and still get garden Spinach for lunch today. good times
not my soil. a friend bought some land with the intention of eventually starting a garden. He got t tested last year. do not think t came with recommendations but can ask
what do you do to get these numbers down? ps not my land
