@Jersey Devil Many years ago, a lovely old Welsh guy by the name off Olwyn once showed me how to buld this kind of wall. He made it look so easy! Of course, he'd been building and repairing them for all his life. I can still remember the basics, but not much more.

Even if I dont live in the UK, heres my input on this. On the face of things, a 1,6C rise in temperature does not seem a lot. Here, its made noticable changes. 30 years ago, Hydrangeas could not be grown, as they froze. Now, they grow quite well. 15 years ago, Quince could not be growwn here as...

Great that you posted the disclaimer. One thing that a lot of new gardeners are not aware of is the fact that there are many garden plants that are poisonous. Some berries are a good example. Maybe a list of such plants can be posted, referring not only to the actual plant, but the part of them...
